2009 WWE Judgment Day Preview & Predictions
2009’s Judgment Day has arrived quickly and the packed card features a collection of great matches and feuds.
Umaga vs. C.M Punk: C.M Punk lost to the monster Kane at last month’s Backlash, so look him to redeem himself and dominate Umaga in a match that could be reminiscent of Punk’s classic ROH feud with Samoa Joe.
Predicted Winner: C.M Punk
ECW Championship: Jack Swagger vs. Christian
In a Backlash rematch Christian defends his newly crowned title against Jack Swagger. Christian should keep his title and end his feud with Swagger as he heads to Extreme Rules to battle Tommy Dreamer.
Predicted Winner: Christian
IC Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio
These two wrestlers are some of the best in the business and they should put on a possible show stealer at Judgment Day. Mysterio will win, pissing
Jericho off even more and sending these two into a specialty match at the Extreme Rules pay per view.
John Cena vs. The Big Show
After being choke slammed through a spotlight at Backlash Cena has come back looking for revenge. If Cena is 100% he should get the win, but Big Show may come out with a surprise win to continue the feud.
Predicted Winner: Big Show
World Heavyweight Championship: Edge vs. Jeff Hardy
After a lengthy feud with Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy is back in the title run once again. He’ll probably fall short against Edge here, but their feud should continue through Summerslam where Hardy will win his second WWE Title.
Predicted Winner: Edge
WWE Title Match: Randy Orton vs. Batista
Batista screwed Triple H out of his title last month and he hasn’t appeared since. Look for a Triple H run-in and if not, look for Orton’s goons to make the save for him.
Predicted Winner: Randy Orton
The pay per view is filled with a collection of great singles matches that will lead to a night of extreme at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay per view.
